For those of you using the new Mapcheck command, I learned something yesterday that I thought was worth sharing. If you ever find that the command isn’t working and is reporting that “There is not enough data to define this segement” when you click a label, the problem may be with the label itself. My discovery was that in order for Mapcheck to work, the bearing and distance must be two separate components in the label style. The screen cap below shows the Bearing over Distance label style in which this is the case. This one works fine with Mapcheck
For the one shown below, there is only one component named Bearing and Distance which has the code for bearing and distance within the same component. This one will not work.
