DTM, Roading, AND Georeferenced Images on Your Data Collector?

Last week, I showed users how they could have automated linework from their data collector with no coding whatsoever. Believe me when I say that I presented only the very tip of the iceberg to you in that short hour – follow the link to find out some other things that you can do with your data collector.

What would you say to digital terrain modeling, volumes, and contouring right from the data collector? You can do that with MicroSurvey FieldGenius.  FieldGenius has the ability to create and utliize DTM surfaces from existing survey data or create a DTM in real time as the data is collected. The TIN and coutours will automatically update as each new shot is taken – sound familiar, anyone?

What about roading? FieldGenius roading allows you to manually input or import your alignment data, including centerline, vertical, and template data. Powerful alignment staking tools help you stake your points along your alignment with confidence.

Have images, will survey? Use georeferenced images and maps in the background for visual reference of your Survey work.

In the upcoming weeks, I will be providing some demonstrations of this functionality. If you would like to learn more, you can view the FieldGenius brochure. Even if you’re not interested, visit the website – it’s one of the coolest designs I’ve seen in quite a while. After looking at the brochure, if you’d like more information, including special Engineered Efficiency pricing (discounted from the brochure pricing), email me or call (866) 760-8724 x52
