Jason Hickey Joins the Engineered Efficiency Team!

Jason Hickey

The entire team at Engineered Efficiency is very happy to welcome our newest member, Jason Hickey!

Even the most casual reader of this blog will be familiar with Jason and his professional experience and Civil 3D expertise. His frequent posts often provide a surveyor’s perspective derived from his 14 years working in production. Starting as a project surveyor, working his way up to crew member, and then to crew chief, Jason has the real-world experience to understand the issues faced everyday by the engineering and surveying community. Moving from the field to the office, Jason continued his hands-on experience, managing two survey crews; establishing a county-wide GPS control network; and developing ALTA, as-built, and topographic surveys.

His cad and Civil 3D skills are just as impressive. Starting with release 11, Jason has worked with every version of AutoCAD, Land Desktop, and Civil 3D through to the current releases. His knowledge also goes beyond Autodesk’s products, extending to a proficiency with Carlson Survey, Carlson Civil Suite, data collectors from all major manufacturers, and GPS equipment.

Combining his production experience with his technical savvy, Jason spent the last several years working as an application engineer, assisting the end users and helping them get the most out of technology as it applied to their business. We are now very pleased that he is adding his unique talents to the EE team.

Be sure to drop a comment and congratulate him!

I think they forgot to include that you have one of the highest % of “fix it” replies to the many problems thrown out in the AutoCAD Civil 3D discussion Group. Thanks!
