Engineered Efficiency becomes an Independent Software Vendor Partner to Autodesk

Recognized for Expertise in Civil and Architectural Solutions

Itasca, Illinois (October 11, 2007) – Engineered Efficiency, Inc. today announced its relationship with Autodesk as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV). The Productivity Pack (ProPack©) for AutoCAD Civil 3D software, the first such offering from Engineered Efficiency, is a suite of engineering, drafting, and design tools that extends the functionality of AutoCAD Civil 3D for enhanced productivity. Additionally, Engineered Efficiency offers its professional AutoCAD Civil 3D training and integration services to new and experienced users and organizations. Engineered Efficiency’s solutions are designed to enhance the business of Autodesk and Engineered Efficiency’s mutual customers by allowing them to reduce implementation time and rapidly maximize their productivity using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

“We’ve always had a strong relationship with Autodesk,” said Mark Scacco, PE, President and Founder of Engineered Efficiency, Inc. “The ISV program is a great way to formalize that relationship for the benefit of our mutual clients. As the premier Civil 3D consultants in North America, our professional integration services and ProPack are a perfect complement to Autodesk’s powerful AutoCAD Civil 3D application. We now offer a one-stop bundled solution for consulting, add-ons, and AutoCAD Civil 3D itself. In the end, it is the users that benefit most from this new partnership.”

“At Autodesk, our goal is to continue our leadership in design with the most comprehensive solution,” said Masako Takagi, Director, ISV NA Channel at Autodesk. “We recognize that our ISV partners, such as Engineered Efficiency, have unique offerings that allow both parties to mutually extend value to our customer base.”

Based 20 miles outside of Chicago, in Itasca, Illinois, Engineered Efficiency (www.eng-eff.com and www.civil4d.com) provides training and consulting to design professionals, contractors, and geospatial professionals. The company is owned and managed by licensed professionals with decades of real-world experience. Engineered Efficiency provides exceptional results by combining years of real-world design experience with in-depth knowledge of engineering, surveying and drafting software applications, and hardware technology. The addition of the ProPack to their consulting services allows users to extend the functionality of AutoCAD Civil 3D to further enhance their productivity. Modules like HEC-RAS import/export; Lot Pad Grading; 3-Line Profile generator; and a variety of utilities and reports build upon the dynamic AutoCAD Civil 3D environment to minimize user effort and maximize efficiency.

By building customized products and services using the world’s leading design software for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets, Autodesk ISV partners address niche requirements in the industries or markets they serve. These partners specialize in developing, bundling or integrating their software solutions with Autodesk applications, drawing on a deep understanding of their customers’ business requirements in areas, such as architecture, building systems engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, geospatial information, manufacturing, data management, collaboration, education and government. Autodesk ISV partners benefit from Autodesk marketing, materials and events to effectively reach and serve more than eight million users worldwide.
