Hopefully you’ve had time to work through Parts I and II. Below is the second example.
IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN’T HAD A CHANCE TO READ THE HELP FILE AND WATCH THE WEBCASTS, THESE EXERCISES WILL PROBABLY BE VERY CONFUSING. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND REVIEW THEM FIRST.
Vault with Lid: This exercise builds a box-shaped vault manhole with slab top. The “projected geometry” method is used to build this part. Click here to download exercise 2. (Note that these exercises need some tweaking to get them to work in a drawing, but it should get you most of the way there.)
Mark,
I got to Part 4 – Finalizing the Part, step 15. I am able to change the Fth variable to List, but when I go to edit the List I am getting an error. I have not been able to determine what the error is as of yet. I followed your procedure step by step. I am going to look for clues as to what happened tonight. Have you any hints?
Opened Part Builder yesterday and low and behold the part worked and whatever error I had disappeared. The part is now complete!!!!
Mark,
I am at part 3 on step 22. Everytime I go to change the values in the size parameters AutoCAD crashes and it doesn’t matter what size I pick. I have gone through it many times to see if I missed a step but I haven’t.
Mark,
I’m on exercise 4 step 17. After I edit Model Parameters and click close, I get a fatal error. Also if I edit “values” in size parameters, the window is blank.
Mark,
A continuation on last comment. On step 17 editing LenA1 & LenA2 cause the fatal error.
