The day before he signed the embargo against Cuba, JFK had his Press Secretary, Pierre Salinger, round up 1000 Cuban Petit Upmann cigars. When Salinger returned to the Oval with over 1200 smokes, JFK reached into his desk and signed the document banning Cuban products, including the recently acquired cigars from retail sales. According to a mail from our friends at ADN, today marks the end of the written embargo on Cannon, officially known as AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008. You’ll see a flurry of posts over the next few days from all the usual sources.
